On the morning of March 21, 2023, the People’s Committee of Can Tho city and the city’s departments had a meeting with Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of the Republic of India in Ho Chi Minh City.

During the work session, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, the Consul General of the Republic of India in Ho Chi Minh City, was very pleased that Can Tho city had planned to organize a working delegation to visit localities in India. He proposed some partners and work contents that the city could include in the program, as well as information about the support from the Consulate General for the working delegation of Can Tho city in India.
Next, Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho city, was honored to welcome the Consul General and his staff. He also thanked for the special attention, support, and affection that the Consul General had given to the city in the past time. On the upcoming business trip to India, he suggested that the Consulate General support to introduce partners, businesses, and importers in India for Can Tho city to connect, promote its potential and strengths in investment, trade, and tourism.
After that, the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the Department of Foreign Affairs of Can Tho city and the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City took place under the witness of the leaders of the People’s Committee of the city and related departments.
