On November 3 morning, CPA will partner with the Ao Dai Museum and Can Tho Youth Union to organize the “Leaf Festival” to promote architecture, cuisine and artworks, as well as stipulate environmental conservation activities through the use of leaf-based products.
Visitors can enjoy music performances and learn how to make traditional cakes and handicraft products from coconut leaves, as well as draw pictures on leaves, etc.
During the fair, enterprises will organize many trade promotion activities to boost their connection with other manufacturers and distributors. Every night, visitors can also enjoy the performance of bands from Can Tho City and Dance Sports clubs such as Fox Band, Moc Band and Thien Nam Band.
Some five conferences and seminars will take place at the fair, including a scientific conference on the “Application of technology for urban agriculture’s sustainable development”, a preliminary conference on “Coordination program for the quality improvement of agriculture-forestry-fishery products in Can Tho and other localities in 2022” on November 2, and the seminar “Promoting the commercialization of the research results, products, technology and equipment from institutes, universities, enterprises, science and technology organizations” on November 3.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the fair, Can Tho chairman Tran Viet Cuong said, “This fair plays an essential role in the development of the agricultural sector in Vietnam, especially the Mekong Delta, as it creates good opportunities for enterprises to apply and exchange innovative and advanced technology. This is especially true for mechanical technology, biological technology, circular technology, technology 4.0 and digital transformation in production and environmental protection.”
