On the morning of April 27, 2022, Can Tho Promotion Agency (CPA) had a meeting and worked with Ms. Mok Shenyang – Director of Enterprise Singapore – Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City and Mr. Bui Ngoc Dung, Head of Enterprise Singapore – Trade Department of the Consulate General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City. At the meeting and working session, the Center’s representative was Mr. Huynh Phu Hiep – Deputy Director of Can Tho Promotion Agency.
The Singapore delegation introduced Enterprise Singapore, a government agency under the Singapore Ministry of Industry and Trade with the mission to support connecting Vietnamese and Singaporean businesses with the desire to cooperate in the field of infrastructure: logistics, ports, and industrial parks. The union came to learn about the direction and policies of investment attraction of Can Tho city in the coming time as well as investment attraction projects of Can Tho and discussed investment opportunities for Singaporean enterprises.

Discussing at the meeting, Mr. Huynh Phu Hiep informed some more outstanding content about the current investment environment in Can Tho city, a general introduction about the socio-economic situation and the list of projects calling for investment in Can Tho city.
Huynh Phu Hiep added that Can Tho city is the center of the Mekong Delta region, along with newly issued policies, in the near future Can Tho city will be an ideal investment place for investors. domestic and foreign investment, and also information about the Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park with an area of about 900 hectares, in Vinh Trinh commune, Vinh Thanh district, Can Tho City will be an opportunity to welcome a strong wave of investment from Singaporean businesses.
